Sophie and I have both been playing with Blender recently. I'm rather pleased with my progress after a relatively short time learning how to use it. Behold my finest creation so far:

It's really great fun to be able to fire it up and have a bit of fun modelling when you don't feel like the mental strain of programming. It's quite relaxing, and the results are rewarding. It's also nice to see your work progress visually and gain detail as you work on it, and it's nice to have another computery hobby that is very different.
